Online ordering across the whole of the retail sector has increased phenomenally, so Pike Textiles geared up their business in line with this, investing in physical storage and new technology in order to move with the demands of the changing market place.
Part of creating the physical space, was the building of a fantastic new mezzanine floor at the Cambridgeshire production plant of Pike Textiles.
The mezzanine incorporates a modern and stylish office space with break-out area, a fantastic purpose-designed studio for the growing artwork team, and a dynamic new meeting room.
Go through the meeting room and you will find a further space dedicated to fabric and wallpaper cuttings. Below the mezzanine floor is a new label and fabric ID area to help handle the increased volumes of cuttings.
By redesigning the space Pike Textiles have been able to create a further area for their fabric cut length service, stock holding customer rolls of fabric and supplying cut lengths to retailers, distributors and furniture manufacturers.
